This show is all about turning characters into their opposites, as a women goes undercover as her brother, and a prig is fooled into strutting in yellow tights.

A Telling of the Christmas Carol

Step into the world of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol—but not quite as you know it. A Telling of The Christmas Carol is a witty, fast-paced, and heartfelt reimagining of the holiday classic. Ebenezer Scrooge still faces ghosts, regrets, and redemption, but along the way audiences are treated to laugh-out-loud comedy, clever twists, and playful modern humor. From Marley fumbling through haunting “protocols” to ghosts who argue like overworked employees, this version delivers big laughs without losing the timeless spirit of generosity and hope. It’s a holiday story that will leave audiences grinning, teary-eyed, and ready to say, “Merry Christmas” with full hearts.

We are thrilled to announce our first Renaissance Festival coming August 22-23, 2026. Guests of all ages will be invited to step into a world of renaissance-inspired entertainment and medieval pageantry as Georgetown Fairgrounds takes a leap back in time.

Georgetown Little Theatre Productions Inc. is pleased to announce receipt of a Community Building Fund – Operating Stream Grant of $36,400.  Some items covered by the grant are web/virtual equipment, programs, licensing, and audio/visual equipment, along with specific cleaning supplies for the Studio, and fixed operating costs.
