History Comes Full Circle!
Did you know that both St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Norval and the Glen Williams hamlet are steeped in the creative legacy of Lucy Maud Montgomery?
During her years in Norval (1926–1935), Montgomery — already beloved for Anne of Green Gables — became a driving force in the local arts scene. She helped stage and even directed variety nights and concerts at St. Paul’s, The Glen Williams Townhall and other nearby halls, celebrating storytelling, poetry, music, and community spirit.
Now, almost 100 years later, Olde Tyme Nites returns to those very same spaces to honour that tradition — reviving the joy, laughter, and neighbourly charm that inspired her and so many others.
Join us for an evening that’s not just performance — it’s a piece of living history.
