50th Anniversary - President's Message

It is difficult for a person to admit they are 50 years old, but for a theatre group to say they have been presenting top quality live theatre entertainment to a community for 50 years is phenomenal! Georgetown Little Theatre Productions Inc. is proud to announce its Golden Anniversary. For the past 50 years GLT has been made up of people whose volunteer participation, vision, and artistic talent has made GLT the success it is today. Taking into account the existing mature talent, GLT is ensuring its future through its Youth Company.

Celebrations will include an Open House on Saturday, September 25 at our Studio at 33 Stewarttown Road. See where we rehearse, how a set is built, visit our costume and properties rooms, plus much more. Get your tickets for opening night of "Wait Until Dark" by Frederick Knott and join us in a wine and cheese reception. On May 28, 2011, at the Glencairn Golf Club, GLT will be celebrating with a Gala dinner and dance. Tickets will be available to our members, patrons, subscribers and the public. During the year stop by the GLT booth at various events around Halton Hills and say hello.
